When I think of baseball, I think of Maya. Her birthday will always fall around the postseason - the end of baseball season. I like that thought. October 6 is potentially the first game the SF Giants begin the playoffs, and it also is Maya's 2nd birthday party. It's like a party within a party. Wish I could have Lou Seal come to the party again haha. But her theme is completely different, yet soooo Maya and Lou Seal would just not fit.
I cannot believe I have a 2 year old. More importantly, I cannot believe my body is calling for number 2! Yes, you read correctly. N U M B E R T W O!!! My body wants to have another baby. My brain on the other hand, remembers how hard it was to have Maya as a vamp, and how awful it would be to have two vamps. In fact, she's in the next room, trying to turn on the light in her room, and fussing and calling me. SHUUUUUSH. She seems to find new ones to avoid sleeping at hours normal for any 2 year old. How is that possible? It's not so much a fight anymore, just a spectacle. She cannot just lie down and rest her noggin. She's got to cry, beg her daddy to take her back to our bed (which she never sleeps in), and then tears of horrible torture come out like we are the worse parents ever. IT IS JUST SLEEP MAYA. GO TO SLEEP!
And because I haven't shared photos of her in a while, here are a few.
This weekend, sporting her Giants cap, and Niners Tee
And my creative invite for her 2nd birthday.
