I just wanted to keep a log of the number of words Maya says. This would be the most appropriate place I think. She puts 3 words together at most and knows certains words in English and Spanish. Pretty cool for a 17 months old :).
English:
Hi, bye, up, down, no, see, yeah, awesome, cheese, shoes, nose, eye, ear, belly, uncle, I love you (this is her 3 word combo), I love you too (wait, she can put 4 words together), thank (you), food, hello, okay, baby, papa, mama, Nina, more, what's that, who's that, it's cold, .....
Spanish: si, Aló, zapato, ojo, nariz, boca, "tin" (for calsetin), vamos, "mimis" (for sleep), pacha, mas, caca, peepee,
Names she says of family members she recognizes: Eli, phia, Tito, dedi (Desiree), bee (bri), chee (ceas).
She points to things she wants and pulls us to where she wants to go. Ask for food or particular objects. Knows where her food cabinet is. Trying her hardest to run away from us when we ask for something she knows she shouldn't have.
I will continue this entry as time goes on. But for now, here is her list.
