Is that how you spell it? When one pronounces a word appropriately? Sounded it out phonetically? Maya seems to be doing this more. She has gone from saying "dadee" to "De-ssseee- raaaay." Slows down the name just to pronounce it correctly. Is this normal for her age? Well if not, she is already doing it. And if it is, she's up to par and I am happy about that.

She seems to sleep later now, which in turn affects my sleeping. I cannot go to sleep until I don't hear a peep from the next room. If it was up to me, I'd let her cry bloody murder, but her dad doesn't like it and will sit in the dark with her until he hears her breathing patterns change. The things we do as parents. I am more patient in other areas of her life, while he is patient with the sleep.

One last thing, she is running. I am amazed to see videos of her when she first took her initial steps and to see how far she's gone. She's turns corners like a race car driver all while on her tip toes.
