Okay so here is the scoreboard:
Maya 7
Mami 4
Last night, I almost quit. I couldn't help but feel like an asshole for trying to keep her up. I don't know if this is really the trick or if swaddling her is making her sleep but something is making her sleep through the night. I don't know what it is, and I'm scared to change our routine. Anyway, she slept the night, per her usual schedule, up every 4 hours to eat and get changed. In the morning though, she wasn't having it and was screaming for me to get the bottle. Alright Maya, I get it, you are hungry. So once she was swaddled, I tried putting her back in the bassinet, and she just kept screaming. So I decided to put her in bed with me, and this girl sure loves to snuggle. She was OUT right next to me. I was scared I'd squash her and kept waking up throughout the morning. At one point, she scooted all the way over and nestled her little face on my arm. It was cute. I guess baby vampires don't just suck the life out of you! hehehe. So I felt like her little face, being currently all rashy, was sweating on my arm and wanted her to be a little more comfy. Well, I guess she was liking the snuggle fest because when I moved my arm, she started to scream. Sheesh Maya, way to let me know you don't like something. I wonder if my neighbor thinks I'm abusing her with those loud ass screams.
So things are looking great. I just don't know if I want to torture her much longer. I wish she'd just fall into a schedule and stay that way. Just to make life easier. But noooo, she's got to make things difficult.
